 Yankee Candle, Whately, MAHarry Grodsky & Co., Inc. has been working at Yankee Candle for the better part of a decade. During this span, we have performed over two dozen projects, all on a Design Build basis. Benefits of the Design Build approach for Yankee Candle are the ease of the construction process, the ability to compress schedules, and a reduction of overall project cost. Schedules are typically compressed because estimates are prepared, and sometimes construction is started, while design is still taking place. The owner gets to benefit from upgrades and increased production quicker than with the traditional plan and spec approach. With our design engineers as part of the day-to-day project team, HG can also respond quickly with innovative solutions for any design, construction, or shutdown challenges. Keeping Yankee Candle's production facility operational 24 hour a day, 7 days a week is important. It's their lifeblood. And we're there to keep them running. |
