99 Founders Plaza, East Hartford, CT The Bank of America headquarters for Connecticut, this 151,000 sf facility is a five-story office building with a sixth-floor penthouse. HG performed a complete replacement of the mechanical systems, and a partial replacement of the plumbing systems for this project. During construction, the third floor of this facility was occupied by approximately 100 bank employees 24 hours, 7 days a week with critical bank operations. To further complicate things, a specification glitch caused the mechanical installation schedule to be compressed from eight to just four months. However, HG was successfully able to replace three Liebert units and 88 heat pumps during the winter months and complete the project within the schedule and with no adverse impacts to the bank's operations and no recordable safety incidents.
