HealthAlliance Hospital Leominster Campus, Leominster, MA Harry Grodsky & Co., Inc. was part of a team that constructed a 108,000 sf addition to the hospital, a 40,000 sf renovation of existing space, and a new central chiller plant, all on a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) basis. As is often the case in hospital renovation work, the logistics and care required to successfully perform the work while keeping a functioning hospital running smoothly and its staff and patients comfortable were tremendous. The ability to think strategically, think ahead, and work with other trades in the best interest of the owner all contributed heavily to a successful project which came in on time and under budget. The relationships built during the project have endured for over a decade and HG continues to take care of all of the Hospital's mechanical design and construction needs. New work has included: design and installation of systems for a two-story, 50,000 sf addition to the Professional Building and 21,000 sf of renovations, all on a Design Build basis, along with 14,500 sf of renovations on a Design Assist basis with the hospital's outside engineers.
