Connecticut Science Center, Hartford, CT
CSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing science education throughout the state of Connecticut. Part of the 30-acre Adriaen's Landing Development overlooking the Connecticut River in downtown Hartford, it is easily distinguished by its "magic carpet" shaped cantilevered roof, angular shape, and extensive glass exterior. Features include: ten galleries of exhibit space that can accommodate over 200 exhibits, a 200-seat 3-D Science Theatre, an observation platform, Discovery Laboratory Learning Center, and conference facilities.

Key mechanical system features include: 12 steam/chilled water air handling units from 6,000 to 23,000 cfm, 90 VAV boxes, 40 fans, 40 fan coil units, and a sub-floor heating system in the main plaza.
