Springfield Federal Courthouse, Springfield, MALEED Silver Certified Harry Grodsky & Co., Inc. performed all of the HVAC and Plumbing work for this 162,000 sf LEED certified building housing a U.S. Federal Justice, a U.S. Congressman, and various other U.S. agencies. Our work included 4.5 miles of HVAC piping, 482 pieces of HVAC equipment, 4.0 miles of plumbing, and 523 plumbing fixtures, and included gray water reuse and High MERV-rated filters. Fitting straight pipe in a building with very few right angles can be a challenge, but it was one that Harry Grodsky & Co., Inc. and our dedicated staff were prepared for. Our knowledge of mechanical systems and our expertise at coordination, prefabrication, and installation were all instrumental to a successful project and our ability to meet, or in most cases beat, the scheduled turnover dates. |
